Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide compassionate in-home support, helping with daily hygiene, meals and activities that promote comfort and independence.

You will also offer companionship and assist with coordinating appointments and communicating patient needs to the nursing team as appropriate.

Qualifications

• 6 months of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care.
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such as bathing, grooming, toileting and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living tasks such as light housekeeping, shopping, meal prep and grocery shopping.
• Provide companionship and conversation to support emotional well-being.
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team.
