Care Planning Institute, Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide in Peoria, IL to assist an elderly male Veteran with bathing, dressing, grooming and walking to help him remain independent at home.

This is a long-term, part-time position at 10 hours per week, with a pay rate of $25/hour total ($21/hour base + $4/hour bonus for completing agreed shifts). The role requires caregiver experience; training is available, and a background check will be performed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver is required.
• We can train on the specifics of the job.
• A background check will be performed.
• TB test is required; obtain from County Health Department or CVS Minute Clinic; cost is $25; reimbursement guidelines apply.
