Job summary

North Shore Health in Nekoosa, WI is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to join our resident-centered care team. Working under supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, ensure safety, and contribute to a positive, supportive environment for residents.

Summary of position

Under the supervision of the assigned LPN/LVN or RN Unit Supervisor provides activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients as assigned.Assists in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment.Follows all Center policies and procedures.

Required Education and Experience

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other center staff.Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents and the elderly. Meets all health requirements, as required by law.
