Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide personal health care, light housekeeping, simple meal preparation, bathing & grooming assistance, laundry, transportation, and companionship.

Requirements

• Assist clients with dressing, feeding, hair and mouth care, shaving, nail care (excluding trimming), positioning, toileting, and transfers.
• Physically capable of pushing and pulling clients over 100 pounds and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Able to move in tight spaces, perform standing, walking, bending, and other physical activities for up to an hour without rest.
• Active member of the Health Care Worker Registry, with 2 references, a high school diploma/GED, and pass background checks.
• Complete IDOA CCP training for Homemaker Supervisor, have reliable transportation, and excellent communication skills.
