Duties include:

• Personal health care
• Light housekeeping
• Simple meal preparation
• Assistance with bathing & grooming

Requirements:

• Ability to assist clients with dressing, feeding, hair care, mouth care, shaving (electric or safety razor), nail care (excluding trimming), positioning, toileting, and transfers
• Must be able to push and pull a minimum of 100 pounds and lift at least 50 pounds
• Ability to move in tight spaces, between objects and furniture
• Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, squatting, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, twisting, sitting, reaching
• Physical endurance to perform duties for up to an hour without rest

Additional requirements:

• Active member of the Health Care Worker Registry
• Two references
• At least 1 year of experience as a homemaker with supervisory skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Successful background checks
• Completion of IDOA CCP training for Homemaker Supervisor
• Vehicle insurance and reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work in various client homes
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with the branch office
