Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide to support patients with daily hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs in their homes.

You'll provide dignity-focused care, assist with meals and light housekeeping, and offer companionship while coordinating with our nursing team to ensure care plans are followed. This role offers flexible scheduling and a patient-centric work environment.

Qualifications

• One year of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care.
• Attention to detail; ability to follow instructions and document patient notes.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities including bathing, grooming, toileting and nutrition.
• Help patients with daily living tasks such as light housekeeping, shopping, meals, and groceries.
• Provide companionship and conversation to support patient wellbeing.
• Help patients navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to the nursing team.

As a Personal Care Aide, you will

• Assist patients with daily hygiene activities, such bathing, grooming, toileting and elimination, and nutritional intake.
• Help patients with daily living deeds, such as, light housekeeping, shopping, preparing meals, and grocery shopping
• Provide companionship and conversation; even the smallest interaction means a lot
• Help the patient navigate the healthcare system by scheduling appointments and communicating needs to our nursing team, when appropriate

To qualify for a Personal Care Aide with us, you will need

• One (1) year of verifiable experience in assisting patients in personal care
• Attention to detail; able to carefully follow instructions and document notes regarding a patient's condition.
• Reliable transportation to/from care sites and/or work location
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
