Job summary

Porters Neck Village in Wilmington, NC seeks compassionate PRN Personal Care Aides to provide high-quality care and support to residents in a home setting. This role offers flexible scheduling, one-on-one resident interaction, and a supportive team culture focused on person-centered care.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor health indicators, and engage residents in meaningful companionship while maintaining dignity and comfort in a private home environment.

Qualifications

• CPR certification current or ability to obtain within 90 days
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year caregiving experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Comfort working in homes with pets (cats and dogs)
• Caring heart and passion for helping others

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming
• Support mealtimes—encourage nutrition and independence
• Monitor and record vital signs and health indicators
• Communicate with families and team members to ensure excellent care
• Engage residents through activities and companionship
• Respond quickly and confidently in emergency situations

Pay: $15.00 per hour | PRN

We are seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our team and provide exceptional care and support to our residents.

PRN Shift Availability

• Overnight shifts: 12-hour shifts
• Afternoon/Evening shifts: 6–8-hour shifts

This is a PRN (as-needed) position, and hours will vary based on scheduling and coverage needs.

What You'll Do
