Job summary

Home Recovery Home Aid is seeking a Personal Care Aide to provide compassionate in-home support under RN supervision and physician orders. You will assist with daily activities, ensure safety and comfort, and document changes in condition.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, reliability, and strong communication. CPR is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience with elderly individuals in home health or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility.
• Engage patients in companionship and social interaction.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and requests for care.
• Observe and report changes to a licensed nurse.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports.
• Prepare and serve meals; assist with eating (excluding tube feeding).
• Support self-administration of medications as directed.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment (bedroom and bathroom).

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As a Personal Care Aide, you will:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
• Engage patients in meaningful conversation, companionship, and social interaction
• Respond promptly to patient needs and requests for care
• Observe and report changes in physical, emotional, or mental condition to a licensed nurse
• Complete required documentation, including incident reports and change-of-condition reports
• Prepare and serve meals; assist with eating (excluding tube feeding)
• Support self-administration of medications as directed
• Change bed linens and maintain a clean, safe immediate living environment (bedroom and bathroom)

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with elderly individuals in a residential, long-term care, or home health setting preferred
