Job summary

Senior Helpers in Lake Forest, CA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home support for seniors. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and maintaining a safe home.

No prior caregiving required, but reliability, strong communication, and a valid driver’s license are a plus. We offer paid training, flexible weekends, mileage reimbursement, and a supportive workplace.

About The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dependable Caregiver to provide one on one care for senior clients in their homes. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, companionship, light housekeeping, errands, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.

What You’ll Do

ADL Support

• Bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Feeding and meal assistance when needed

IADL Support

• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Laundry and grocery shopping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments and errands
• Companionship, conversation, walks, and activities

What We’re Looking For

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and IADLs
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable
• Able to follow care plans and communicate clearly
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Bonus Points If You:

• Have CPR, First Aid, CNA or HHA certification
• Enjoy coastal walks, light activities, or games
• Bring a great sense of humor

Pay & Benefits

• $18-$22 per hour (based on shift type and experince)

Requirements

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Able to assist with transfers and mobility
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Able to pass background check and drug screening
• Flexible availability, including some weekends
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED required
