Assisting Hands Home Care are hiring for Personal Care aides to help our clients at all different levels of care.

Provide companionship tasks and personal hygiene services, Housekeeping and other related support services essential to the clients well-being.

Observe, record, and report all changes to supervisor. All caregivers should demonstrate competence in performing the necessary skills and only perform those skills on the plan of care.

Duties and Responsibilities: Home management task including housekeeping, laundry, shopping and errands. Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assist with feeding as necessary. Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Assist with toileting, including use of bedpan, commode, or toilet.

Assist self-directing clients with transfers, ambulation, and use of canes, walkers, or wheelchair. Assist self-directing clients with medication reminders or refilling the client's prescriptions at the local pharmacy as specified on plan of care.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a cell phone.

Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

Good communication skills are required, as is a professional demeanor.
