Job summary

hce-careers is seeking a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to deliver hands-on daily living support. This full-time role offers flexible daytime/evening/weekend blocks, training toward CNA/HHA certification, and opportunities for fast-track promotion to Lead PCA.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, safety, medications, companionship, and transportation, helping clients maintain independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA preferred, but training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow infection-control protocols.
• Friendly, respectful communicator who maintains client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Guide mobility, ambulation, walker/wheelchair use, and ROM routines.
• Plan and cook simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and safety checks.
• Give timely medication reminders and report changes to the nurse.
• Offer companionship through conversation, games, and escorted outings.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments and community activities.

What You’ll Do for Clients
