Job summary

You will engage customers with needs assessments, recommend tailored financial options, and promote digital tools while collaborating with branch teams to grow relationships and meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Typically 2–3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in related field.
• Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
• Working knowledge of personal and small business customer needs and solutions.
• Experience in retail investments and lending products.
• Experience in a consultative customer service or sales role, with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Readiness to collaborate and work in different capacities as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Takes a lead in proactively engaging with existing customers and prospects by providing needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Engages customers to complete needs assessments that identify financial solutions and preferred banking channels while recommending tailored solutions (everyday banking, retail investments, lending, home financing, small business).
• Offers clients advice on digital and self-serve options to make banking easy and fast.
• Supports customer transactions and meets needs based on traffic.
• Builds relationships in the community by generating appointments and new business.
• Applies risk management and compliance with lending policies and processes.
• Makes credit recommendations for personal lending transactions, including home financing.
• Acts as a key member of a collaborative branch and market team.
• Probes to understand customer needs and integrates marketing promotions into conversations.
• Maintains accuracy of information and looks for ways to improve the customer experience.
