Job summary

TD in Columbia, South Carolina seeks a Retail Banker I to help customers with banking solutions, provide consultative advice, and uphold TD’s Brand promise. You’ll educate customers on products, cross-sell when appropriate, and guide them through banks’ services with professionalism.

Responsibilities include building relationships, using CRM tools, handling loan conversations, and completing teller training on hire.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years' experience working with customers or in sales.
• Teller experience preferred.
• Must complete teller training upon hire to handle customer transactions.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are expected.
• Ability to schedule and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on bank products and services and refer them to appropriate team members.
• Build and nurture customer relationships with product knowledge and active listening.
• Make product recommendations based on customer needs and highlight features/benefits.
• Utilize CRM tools to identify solutions and engage in outbound sales activities.
• Independently resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary.
• Engage in conversations about loan products and facilitate application intake.
