Job summary

BMO Financial Group is seeking a customer-focused banking professional to serve as a lobby leader, guiding customers through in-branch and digital services while identifying opportunities to broaden the relationship with BMO.

The role requires consultative selling, collaboration with partners, and a commitment to risk and compliance as part of delivering a superior customer experience across multiple branches or channels.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced with social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organization, collaboration and analytical problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Greet and guide customers entering the branch lobby, offering guidance on digital and self-serve options.
• Identify referral opportunities with BMO partners to grow the customer relationship beyond personal banking.
• Conduct client conversations about banking services and provide personal banking and investment advice.
• Address everyday banking needs with seamless execution and align with risk/compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with branch team to meet business results and customer experience goals.
• Support operational activities including account applications, filing, and inventory management.
