The Position

Our community bank client seeks a Personal Banker in San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will perform customer service functions while maintaining positive relationships with coworkers and customers.

The role offers a salary up to $70K plus incentives and excellent benefits. (This is not a remote position)

Personal Banker responsibilities include:

  • Manage customer bank accounts; open, close, and oversee transactions
  • Resolve issues with banking services and accounts
  • Answer customer calls and resolve basic deposit and loan inquiries
  • Perform account maintenance for banking product changes
  • Follow bank operating procedures
  • Handle reporting tasks as assigned by supervisor
  • Escalate issues when necessary to ensure customer satisfaction

Skills and experience include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years in customer service or similar roles
  • Experience in loan sales, application processing, and loan closings at a financial institution

  • Successful in selling ancillary insurance products
  • Ability to build positive relationships and demonstrate integrity, dedication, and strategic counsel
  • Strong communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly and concisely
