Location: FCB Stephenville Wal-Mart, 2765 W. Washington St., Stephenville, Texas, United States

Position Type: Part Time - 20 hours per week

Requirements

• Six months of work experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
• Ability to work effectively with co-workers and in a team environment
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are subject to change based on business needs
• High school diploma, high school equivalency, or currently attending high school
• At least 18 years of age
• Successful completion of background investigation according to company policy

Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides exceptional customer service, handling receipt and payment of cash in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following established bank policies and supervisor instructions
2. Achieving monthly new account production targets
3. Processing deposits and payouts accurately, balancing daily transactions
4. Verifying cash and checks, detecting counterfeit currency and checks
5. Entering transactions into the computer and issuing receipts
6. Selling and preparing money orders, cashier's checks, wires, bonds, traveler’s checks, and certificates of deposit
7. Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
8. Cross-selling bank services and products
9. Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
10. Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors

Environmental and Physical Requirements

• Standing or walking for extended periods depending on branch location
• Ability to operate computers and office machinery in a noisy, high-volume environment
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
