About this role:

We are seeking an Associate Roving Personal Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. Learn more at wellsfargojobs.com.

In this role you will:

  1. Support branch locations within a specific geography when bankers or tellers are out or to cover vacancies.
  2. Be adaptable to changing priorities and environments while meeting customer needs.
  3. Deliver exceptional customer experience by building relationships through proactive outreach and proposing suitable products, services, and digital solutions.
  4. Assist customers with opening accounts, service requests, and credit applications.
  5. Follow directions from managers and exercise judgment within policies and procedures.
  6. Develop understanding of bank products and connect them to customer needs.
  7. Engage with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
  8. Provide appropriate banking options and refer customers to other bankers or partners as needed.
  9. This SAFE position involves customer contact and may include offering/negotiating terms or taking applications for dwelling secured transactions, requiring compliance with S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations. Ongoing employment depends on meeting these requirements, including background checks. Candidates must also meet Loan Originator requirements under Regulation Z (LO).

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ months of customer interaction experience or equivalent (work, training, military, education).

Desired Qualifications:

  • Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
  • Proactive outreach via phone or email.
  • Ability to educate customers about technology and mobile banking.
  • Support customers in succeeding financially and connecting them to appropriate team members.
  • Experience working with teams to meet customer needs.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customers and internal partners.
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts and act accordingly.
  • Professional interaction with customers and team members.
  • Military experience relevant to protocol, personnel benefits, or leadership.
  • Proficient in sourcing, acquiring, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Support in resolving or escalating concerns or complaints.

Job Expectations:

  • Travel within the district (up to 100%).
  • Commute to assigned locations; mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Work schedule may include most Saturdays.
  • Manage cash drawer, handle cash, and complete service tasks.
  • This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

Posting Locations:

  • Multiple locations in Aurora, Centennial, Littleton, Greenwood Village, CO.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $25.14, with a potential 10% pay differential.
