Job summary

Equity Bank in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Personal Banker to join our Retail Banking team. This on-site, full-time position focuses on building client relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions.

You will conduct professional client conversations, recommend accounts and loans, and promote bank products. Training in Wichita, KS during the first week is required; travel is expected. Equity Bank offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel to Wichita, KS during first week of employment for required week-long training.
• Must obtain and maintain NMLS certification in accordance with SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

• Build client relationships through professional conversations that build trust and credibility.
• Discover key life events to ensure products meet financial needs.
• Recommend and provide accounts, loans, and services that match client needs.
• Promote bank products and services within and outside the bank.
• Proactively refer to bank partners for additional revenue.
• Demonstrate operational soundness and adhere to procedures.
• Provide a consistently superior client experience and resolve issues.
• Handle teller duties and process client transactions.
• Approve transactions within your authority and assist with opening/closing as needed.
