Job description

Join to apply for the Personal Banker II - Western Division role at Citadel Credit Union.

This position can be based out of any of our branches in the Western Division, including Phoenixville, Thorndale, Eagle, Chester Springs, South Coatesville, Parkesburg, Lancaster-Rohrerstown Road, and Granite Run Drive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing the customer experience by determining the types of accounts and services needed to meet individual financial needs.
  • Driving sales through service by developing positive customer relationships and proactively seeking new opportunities.
  • Assisting customers with routine and complex financial transactions such as opening accounts, deposits, withdrawals, loan applications, and cross-selling services like credit cards, investments, insurance, and IRAs.
  • Providing quality customer interactions rooted in Citadel Class Service principles: Accuracy, Value, Respect, and Convenience.
  • Recognizing opportunities to promote Citadel’s products and services to meet sales goals.
  • Performing financial transactions accurately, including cash handling and using technology like Cash Recyclers, ATMs, and Inline Teller Machines.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with business partners to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensuring operational safety and compliance with policies and laws.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating professionalism at all times.
  • Working Saturdays and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • At least 2 years of sales and face-to-face customer service experience; 3+ years preferred.
  • Prior financial industry experience and cash handling experience are preferred.
  • NMLS certification and Notary are preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, ability to navigate multiple systems, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

This is a full-time, entry-level position in the banking industry focused on finance and sales.
