Position Overview
This position can be based out of any of our branches in the Northern Division, including East Norriton, West Norriton, Pottstown, Warminster, Limerick, Lansdale, Harleysville, and Montgomeryville.
The incumbent will create and manage the customer experience by determining the types of accounts and/or services needed to meet individual financial needs. The role involves driving sales through excellent service, developing positive customer relationships, and assisting with routine and complex financial transactions, such as opening accounts, deposits, withdrawals, loan applications, and cross-selling services like credit cards, investments, insurance, and IRAs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient customer service, exceeding expectations and adhering to Citadel’s Class Service Principles (Accuracy, Convenience, Respect, and Value).
- Identify opportunities to promote or sell Citadel’s products and services to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Perform financial transactions accurately, including cash handling with manual and technological tools.
- Offer guided, consultative services to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Serve customers through various channels, including in-person, outbound calls, inbound call center, and community events.
- Build and maintain relationships with business partners and department specialists to maximize sales.
- Ensure operational safety and compliance with policies, laws, and regulations.
- Understand industry trends, scams, and risks to protect customers and the organization.
- Maintain professional and respectful interactions with co-workers, management, customers, and vendors.
- Complete all required compliance and security training, including SAFE Act and BSA requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Ability to work Saturdays.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years of sales and face-to-face customer service experience; 3+ years preferred.
- Prior financial industry experience preferred.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- NMLS certification and Notary preferred.
- Proficiency with PC and multiple software applications.
- Strong sales, communication, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask, build relationships, and work effectively in a team.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of Citadel products like mortgages, auto loans, and home equity loans.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
