Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking Personal Bankers who excel at building relationships, recommending and selling banking products, and delivering financial solutions. You will convert routine requests into cross-sell opportunities, call leads, visit businesses for workplace banking, and help customers achieve financial well-being while maintaining compliance.

You’ll receive extensive training, work with leaders under mentorship, and have opportunities to grow within Consumer banking at UMB.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in a retail environment with customer interaction.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Convert transactions and service requests into cross-sell conversations.
• Call leads, visit businesses, and develop workplace banking referrals.
• Meet daily performance metrics while balancing priorities.
• Learn transactions, cash handling, and bank documentation per standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
