What The Role Is

As a Personal Banker, you will provide best-in-class service by processing routine banking transactions while developing deep customer relationships and understanding their needs. You will identify and offer appropriate financial products and educate customers on alternative transaction channels. Personal Banker I/II team members will assist clients with various needs within a universal banking model.

How You Will Make An Impact

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Support transactional needs and identify opportunities to deepen customer relationships.
2. Open and process deposit accounts, providing solutions for managing cash flow.
3. Work in a team environment with regular interactions with teammates and customers.
4. Assist with simple consumer lending products such as personal loans and credit cards.
5. Educate customers on bank channels like online and mobile banking, video tellers, and ATMs.
6. Meet or exceed sales and referral objectives.
7. Handle cash and adhere to balancing procedures.
8. Stay informed about products, fees, policies, and current offers to recommend suitable services.
9. Explore customer needs and refer them within the branch or to other departments.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant bank regulations and stay updated on regulation changes.
11. Participate in community activities and financial literacy initiatives to create a positive community impact.

Who You Are

• High school diploma required; college coursework preferred.
• Previous banking or sales experience is preferred.
• 1-year cash handling experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sales and service techniques in a goal-based environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• This position does NOT require S.A.F.E. registration at employment.
