Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation seeks a Personal Banker to build lasting relationships with customers, understand financial needs, and offer product solutions to secure their financial well‑being.

You will call on leads, visit local businesses for workplace banking, develop referral networks, and help customers with transactions while maintaining accuracy and regulatory compliance. This role may require weekend availability and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of retail or customer-facing experience that involved product recommendations and sales.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work branch hours, including weekends and some evenings.
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days.
• Strong product knowledge, conversational skills, and ability to build upon customers’ needs.
• Attention to detail in completing documents or explaining features and benefits.
• Positive image, compelling communication style, and problem-solving mindset.

Compensation

Targeted hourly pay: $20–$21 per hour. Annual salary range: $38,916 – $57,244.
