Job summary

Peoples Bank in Indianola is seeking a Personal Banker I to support customers with opening and maintaining accounts, perform teller duties, and assist with staffing across locations. This role requires strong communication and a professional, customer-focused approach.

The position involves teamwork in a fast-paced banking environment, with travel between bank locations as needed. Prior banking experience is preferred and attention to service excellence is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year banking experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening, and etiquette).

• Open, close, and maintain checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, safe deposit boxes, and online banking.
• Perform teller duties and rotate between New Accounts, Call Center, and Teller area in Indianola.
• Travel to other bank locations to assist with staffing shortages.

Position: Personal Banker I (Indianola Location)

Responsibilities

• Open, close, and maintain checking accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, IRAs, safe deposit boxes, ATM/Debit Cards, and online banking.
• Perform teller duties and rotate between New Accounts, Call Center, and the Teller area in Indianola.
• Travel to other bank locations to assist with staffing shortages.

Qualifications

• One year of banking experience preferred.

Schedule

• Regular shifts vary between 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
• Saturday rotation from 7:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.

• Pay range: $20.26 - $22.52/hr (based on previous banking experience).
