Job Description

Under immediate supervision, provides exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Following established bank policies and supervisor instructions
2. Achieving monthly new account targets as assigned
3. Processing deposits and payouts accurately, balancing daily transactions
4. Verifying cash and check amounts and endorsements
5. Examining cash for counterfeit checks and IDs
6. Entering transactions into the computer and issuing receipts
7. Selling and preparing money orders, cashier's checks, wire transfers, bonds, travelers' checks, and CDs
8. Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
9. Cross-selling bank services and products
10. Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
11. Performing additional tasks as directed by supervisors

Environmental and Physical Requirements

• Standing or walking for extended periods depending on branch location
• Ability to operate computers and office machinery in a noisy, high-volume environment
• Lifting up to 25 lbs
