WaFd Bank is seeking a Personal Banker to win new business and deepen consumer deposit and loan relationships by delivering exceptional customer service. The Personal Banker will build foundational sales, service, and relationship management skills while supporting branch operations and guiding clients through WaFd systems.

A successful candidate will work toward WaFd's foundational certifications, supporting ongoing professional development and career advancement within WaFd.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Business-related college classes or degree preferred.
• Proficient in math, 10-key, and keyboarding; strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI, Outlook).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication abilities; familiarity with digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Open new accounts and discuss/originate loans; onboard new clients.
• Win new business and deepen deposit/loan relationships through excellent service.
• Support branch operations and guide clients in WaFd digital/self-service options.
• Build client base through outreach to businesses and community organizations.
• Contribute to branch performance goals and uphold WaFd values.
