About the Role

The Personal Banker is responsible for serving as a financial consultant, conducting customer profiles, cross-selling, and up-selling, and contributing to the growth of the banking center.

Essential Functions
  1. Grow the banking center’s customer base by establishing, expanding, and retaining high-value relationships.
  2. Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve issues, and develop loyalty.
  3. Apply need-based sales techniques, conduct financial profiles, and recommend products.
  4. Open and service accounts, achieve sales and service goals, and support branch operations.
  5. Assist with onboarding new clients and provide backup support as needed.
  6. Mentor colleagues and perform all branch sales and service functions, including teller duties.
Required Skills and Experience
  • 3+ years customer service experience and 2+ years retail banking experience.
  • Platform banking experience; cash handling and cross-selling experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s in finance or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, team orientation, and intermediate PC proficiency.
