Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Floating Personal Banker to join our team in the Lehigh Valley area. This is an exciting opportunity to support our customer sales and service functions while building lasting relationships with customers and contributing to their financial success. As a Personal Banker Floating an exceptional experience will be provided, engaging with customers at multiple branch locations across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers through the Fidelity Model Experience, ensuring a committed and passionate approach to every interaction.
  • Identify customers' financial needs by having meaningful conversations at various touchpoints (e.g., transaction window, platform desk, lobby) and make personalized product and service recommendations.
  • Help customers achieve their financial goals by providing solutions and counseling on credit improvement and other financial strategies.
  • Contribute to the acquisition of new customers, growth of existing relationships, and customer retention through exceptional service and follow-up.
  • Assist customers with opening new accounts, completing transactions, and servicing deposit products and services.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with current customers to uncover cross-selling opportunities and request referrals to expand the customer base.
  • Drive new business by soliciting new customers and maintaining strong relationships with current clients.
  • Support branch sales and service goals by promoting multi-channel capabilities, including 132 Onboarding, HP calls, and email communications.
  • Perform daily transactions and other branch duties such as cash handling, ATM servicing, and maintaining branch supplies.
  • Ensure all customer requests are processed accurately and in compliance with bank procedures, from account openings to loan applications and routine banking transactions.
  • Provide customer service support for specific inquiries or service-related issues.
  • Ensure timely entry of customer service information into CRM for accurate reporting and tracking.
  • Collaborate with branch team members to coordinate tasks, manage the branch appearance, and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements, including those related to compliance, risk management, and safety.
  • Complete required training and engage in career development opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service and sales skills with a passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of banking products and services, as well as the ability to recommend appropriate solutions based on customers' needs.
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities and contribute to achieving branch goals.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in handling transactions and maintaining compliance with bank policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility to float between different branches as needed.
  • Experience in financial services or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Education/Training: A high school diploma or equivalent experience

Skill(s): Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; moderate typing skills; proficient PC skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; proficient customer service skills; moderate needs based selling skills; moderate knowledge of bank deposit and loan products and services, along with the operating policies and procedures that impact these products; ability to lift items weighing 50 lbs. or less; visual and auditory skills; valid driver’s license is required for floating Universal Banker position.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in related Customer Service position.
