Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Floating Personal Banker. In this role, you will perform a variety of duties supporting customer sales and service functions across our branches. Fidelity Bank is a community-focused bank seeking Personal Bankers in the Scranton area and Lackawanna County. You will assist customers with transactions, coordinate within the branch, and ensure effective communication across departments. As a Floating Personal Banker, you will support multiple branches within Lackawanna County.

This role requires flexibility based on customer volume and service needs. Our Fidelity Bankers aim to provide excellent customer experiences, from simple transactions to in-depth financial consultations. You will help clients open accounts, educate on products and services, and promote digital banking tools, all while meeting service and sales goals. Successful bankers are caring, technically skilled, and team-oriented. The bank provides comprehensive training and mentorship to support your success.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Sales and Service Support:
   • Create engaging customer experiences aligned with the Fidelity Model Experience and core values.
   • Identify financial needs and recommend suitable products.
   • Assist customers in reaching their financial goals through consultative discussions.
   • Build relationships for cross-selling and retention.
   • Handle deposit transactions, documentation, and point-of-sale processing.
   • Solicit new business and nurture existing customer relationships.
2. Branch Operations:
   • Perform transactions like deposits, check cashing, and payments following policies.
   • Maintain branch reports, balance cash drawers, and ensure operational compliance.
   • Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth branch functioning.
   • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems.
3. Collaboration and Compliance:
   • Work closely with branch staff and partners for effective communication.
   • Follow internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
   • Participate in training and professional development.
4. Customer Assistance and Reporting:
   • Address customer inquiries and service issues promptly.
   • Assist in compiling performance data for reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and time effectively.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations (training provided).
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellent service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., visual and auditory skills, valid driver’s license for floating position.

Experience

Minimum one (1) year in a customer service-related role.
