Job Description

Under immediate direction, provides exceptional customer service, involving receipt and payment of cash, in a high-volume sales environment. Responsibilities include:

• Following bank policies and supervisor’s guidance
• Achieving monthly new account production targets
• Processing deposits and payouts accurately
• Verifying cash and checks, including endorsements
• Guarding against counterfeit checks and IDs
• Entering transactions into the computer and issuing receipts
• Selling and preparing money orders, cashier’s checks, wires, bonds, travelers' checks, and CDs
• Processing Western Union wires and cash advances
• Cross-selling bank services and products
• Serving a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
