Adams Bank & Trust is hiring a full-time Personal Banker at our Berthoud branch. You will greet customers, process transactions, open/close accounts, and build lasting relationships with clients.

Ideal candidates have cash handling and customer service skills, with a professional appearance. Sales experience is a plus; we offer training and growth opportunities and a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Balance and maintain cash drawer daily.
• Open and close accounts (checking, savings, CDs, NOW accounts, etc.).
• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships.
• Proactively calls on new and existing customers outside of bank; build community connections and seek referrals.
• Accept credit applications for consumer loans and perform basic underwriting decisions.
• Cross-sell banking products and services based on customer needs.
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations.

About the Role

We're looking for a positive, customer-focused go-getter to join our team. In this role, you'll be the friendly face our customers rely on for everyday banking, while also helping them discover products and services that make their financial lives easier.

What You’ll Do:

• Greet customers and process transactions quickly and accurately
• Balance and maintain your cash drawer daily
• Open and close accounts (checking, savings, CDs, NOW accounts, etc.)
• Provide exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships
• Proactively calls on new and existing customers outside of bank. Makes business connections through community organizations and volunteer commitments. Actively promotes bank and asks clients for referrals.
• Accepts credit applications for consumer loans and completes basic underwriting and loan decisions
• Cross-sell banking products and services based on customer needs
• Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations
