Description

Are you looking to build your career in the finance and banking industry? Summit Credit Union provides an environment for relationship-building, collaboration, and resources for professional growth. We are currently seeking a Personal Banker to work out of our Plover branch. This role would also help support our Weston branch.


In this role you'll play a pivotal role in fostering strong member relationships and delivering exceptional service. On a daily basis your focus will be engaging in one on one interactions with members through various channels, including in-branch, phone, online messaging, and video appointments. Through these interactions you will be working to understand our members financial needs and deliver personalized solutions in each interaction. Your extensive knowledge of lending products will help to educate members and support them in achieving their financial goals.


Job Specifications



  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

  2. Two years retail financial experience or working in a sales environment, lending experience required.

  3. Have or be able to attain a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) number.

  4. Excellent communication skills.

  5. Working knowledge of basic business math, including ability to perform dividend, interest, payoff, equity and certificate penalty calculations.

  6. Working knowledge of deposit accounts and loan products.

  7. Ability to hear, assimilate and solve problems quickly, using a member service approach.

  8. Ability to adapt to changing job responsibilities quickly and effectively.
