Job summary

C&N is seeking a People-centered Personal Banker to open accounts, offer digital banking options, and tailor financial solutions for customers in the Sayre area.

In this role you will build lasting relationships, drive business development, and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional service while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 2–4 years of customer service experience, preferably in banking.
• NMLS certification within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management & Customer Service: Build and strengthen customer relationships by providing personalized service, educating customers on C&N's products and services, and delivering an exceptional banking experience.
• Account Opening & Financial solutions: Open consumer and business deposit accounts, assist with digital banking solutions, and recommend products and services that align with customers' financial needs and goals.
• Consumer Lending: Identify lending opportunities, assist customers with consumer loan products, originate eligible loan applications, and guide customers through the lending process.
• Business Development: Support branch business development efforts by building community relationships, participating in outreach activities, and collaborating with business partners to identify referral opportunities.
• Branch Operations: Provide support with teller transactions and branch operations as needed while maintaining compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Education & Experience – You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment ORan equivalent combination of education and experience.
