Job summary

OneAZ Credit Union is hiring a Personal Banker for our Prescott Valley branch to deliver trusted financial guidance and help members manage their money across in-branch, online, and mobile channels.

You will open accounts, learn member needs, and promote OneAZ products while building lasting relationships in the community. A customer-service mindset and cash-handling experience are valued. 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years' related experience in customer service or sales.
  • One year of cash handling preferred, ideally at a financial institution.
  • Strong relationship-building and client-focused sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal, phone, email, internet, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop knowledge of branch goals, products, and campaigns.
  • Open accounts, learn members' financial needs, and identify OneAZ products and solutions.
  • Onboard new members by opening accounts and facilitating loans.
  • Build relationships and OneAZ's brand in the community through events.
  • Analyze member financial information and profiles.
  • Assist with loan applications and closings with underwriting.
  • Support members' banking via internet, mobile, branch, and ATM channels.
  • Expand the customer base by networking with existing and prospective members.
  • Perform teller transactions as needed.

What You’ll Do

This position will be located at our Prescott Valley Branch: 7111 Pav Way, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314

OneAZ's Personal Bankers emulate the Credit Union's Core Values by building relationships with members, and providing trusted advice in discovering, growing, and fulfilling our members' financial lives and livelihood.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of OneAZ's business goals, branch operations, products, and marketing campaigns.
  • Fulfill members' best interests by opening accounts, learning their financial needs, and identifying OneAZ products and solutions.
  • Onboard new members by opening accounts, facilitating loans, and following up with client-focused outreach.
  • Build relationships, rapport, and OneAZ's brand in the community, including attending and supporting events and activities.
  • Analyze member financial information, such as financial profile.
  • Facilitate completing member loan applications for submission to underwriting. Conduct loan closings with members.
  • Support members' banking efficiently through internet, mobile app, branch, and ATM channels.
  • Expand customer base by networking with existing and prospective new members.
  • Conduct teller activity and transactions, according to branch business needs.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • One to three years' related experience in a customer service, sales, or client-facing role.
  • One year of cash handling preferred, ideally at a financial institution.
  • Strong relationship-building and client-focused sales skills.
  • Excellent verbal, phone, email, internet, and writing skills.
