Position Overview

As a Personal Banker [in a Universal Branch or in an In-store Branch], you will strengthen customer relationships with a defined sales process. You will spend most of your time engaging customers in sales conversations to identify appropriate financial solutions. This position, within PNC's Retail Branch Banking Network, is based in Nashville, Tennessee at the Midtown Broadway Solution Center Branch.

Job Responsibilities

• Acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, managing the customer experience to improve financial wellbeing.
• Drive proactive sales conversations via internal and outbound interactions, including calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and lobby engagement, to enhance client loyalty.
• Create customer loyalty and grow share of wallet by providing a differentiated customer experience, educating customers on managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
• Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and resolve customer problems effectively, fostering loyalty.
• Manage risk through adherence to policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment and participating in branch operations efficiently and accurately.

Qualifications and Skills

Successful candidates should demonstrate knowledge, skills, and abilities including accountability, customer service, proactive sales, and digital awareness. Candidates typically require 3+ years of related experience, with an associate degree or equivalent preferred. No specific certifications or licenses are required.
