Job summary

Academy Bank seeks a Personal Banker to build strong relationships with clients, promote bank products, and deliver tailored financial solutions. You will drive new business, conduct outbound calls and group presentations, and collaborate with branches to meet sales and service goals.

The role emphasizes exceptional client service, proactive outreach, and ongoing guidance on our digital tools, while ensuring accurate account openings and compliance with banking regulations.

Responsibilities

• Actively develop new business and deepen existing client relationships through enthusiastic promotion of bank products via cold calling, daily outbound calls, sales meetings, and group presentations.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing fast, easy, personalized service and resolving issues promptly to build lasting relationships.
• Meet or exceed sales, referral, and client retention goals through effective relationship management and consistent execution of sales strategies.
• Identify client financial needs and provide tailored deposit, digital banking, credit card, and lending solutions, promoting a full-service banking relationship.
• Educate clients on digital banking tools and self-service channels to increase adoption and improve the client experience.
• Collaborate with internal partners to identify referral opportunities and ensure comprehensive financial solutions.
• Open and service accounts, process transactions, and complete documentation in compliance with procedures and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and security requirements; complete required training and stay updated on products and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Meet or exceed established sales, referral, and client retention goals through effective relationship management and consistent execution of sales strategies.
• Identify client financial needs and provide tailored solutions, including deposit accounts, digital banking services, credit cards, and lending products, while promoting a full-service banking relationship.
• Educate clients on digital banking tools and self-service channels, increasing adoption and enhancing the overall client experience.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to identify referral opportunities and ensure clients receive comprehensive financial solutions.
• Accurately open and service accounts, process transactions, and complete all required documentation in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including BSA, OFAC, audit, and security requirements.
• Complete required training in a timely manner and maintain current knowledge of bank products, services, regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.
• Other specified duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

The Personal Banker position pay rate is $20.00 to $24.50 per hour depending on experience. This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation monthly, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
