Base pay range: $20.00/hr - $24.40/hr

Position

Job Title: Personal Banker I/II (depending on experience and education)

Responsibilities

• Deliver an excellent customer experience both in person and over the phone to meet customers’ financial needs.
• Actively listen to customers and make appropriate recommendations that align with their needs.
• Educate customers on a variety of retail products and digital solutions to improve financial wellness.
• Ensure financial transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish relationships with internal departments and refer customers to bank specialists for complex needs.
• Earn more than base pay through quarterly incentive programs.
• Interact with customers to meet needs-based sales and service goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; 1+ year of sales or customer service experience.
• Strong sales skills and ability to provide excellent customer experience in person and by phone.
• Motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptive with a positive outlook aligned with our culture and Core Values.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience in an environment with individual and team sales goals preferred.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:45am – 4:15pm or 8:45am – 5:45pm; Rotating Saturdays, 8:45am – 12:15pm.

State of Compliance

For this position, federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report.

Compensation details: A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $20.00 to $24.40 per hour, with additional compensation through performance-based incentive plans.
