Job summary

Strata Clean Energy is seeking a Sr. Manager, Permitting to lead discretionary land use and natural resource permitting for utility-scale solar and storage projects across multiple sites.

You will guide permitting strategy, budgets, and schedules, manage external consultants, and collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Asset teams while engaging with regulators and local authorities to ensure timely project approvals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's preferred.
• 7+ years of experience obtaining discretionary land use permits and natural resource permits.
• Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee discretionary land use and natural resources permitting for utility-scale solar and storage projects.
• Develop permitting strategy with schedule and budget.
• Manage external consultants and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Represent the company at hearings and engage with regulators and local authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations throughout permitting and handoffs.
