CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm seeking a skilled Permit Coordinator to join our Sanford, FL team. The role focuses on managing full permitting processes across jurisdictions, coordinating with agencies and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely approvals.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in permitting-related roles, strong communication skills, and meticulous documentation practices to maintain accurate project records and trackers.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, land development, zoning regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permitting software such as Accela or ePermits.
• Detail oriented, reliable and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, track, and manage permit applications for land development, zoning, construction, and environmental approvals.
• Coordinate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure compliance with permitting regulations.
• Monitor permit requirements and timelines to ensure approvals are obtained within project schedules.
• Maintain a database of permit applications, approvals, and expirations to track compliance status.
• Research and interpret local and national permitting codes, land use regulations, and building ordinances.
