Job summary

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a permitting professional to support land use, environmental permitting, and entitlement strategy for solar PV, BESS, and electrical infrastructure projects across the US. You will report to the Permitting team and collaborate with multiple departments to advance approvals and milestone tracking.

The role requires 3+ years in permitting, strong communication and project management skills, and budget experience.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in land use/environmental permitting.
  • Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Understanding of environmental/land use/utility regulatory landscape.
  • Master's degree in a related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Screen/site prospective solar projects; support environmental due diligence on M&A deals.
  • Manage consultants and coordinate agency submittals for regulatory and siting approvals.
  • Track permitting milestones, budgets, and schedules.
  • Prepare agency applications; represent the company at hearings and community workshops.
  • Negotiate permit conditions with regulatory/wildlife agencies.
  • Coordinate with origination, finance, construction, and asset management teams.
  • Monitor CAPEX and review invoices during project development.
