A community college in Michigan seeks a Permits Agent responsible for processing and reviewing permit applications as well as performing permit inspections. Candidates must have at least an Associate's degree in relevant fields and demonstrate applicable experience as defined. This role may offer remote work options and requires a valid driver’s license for field activities. The candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and must be eligible based on background checks, alongside other application requirements.

Formación

• Possession of an Associate’s degree in concrete technology, civil technology, construction technology, surveying technology, construction management, mathematics, or computer science.
• One year of experience equivalent to a Transportation Technician 8.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree or higher in an Applied Science or Science with 16 semester hours in job‑specific or related coursework qualifies for the Transportation Technician E10 level.

• Perform permit inspections.
• Attend meetings for field reviews and inspections.
