ARCXIS is seeking a full-time Permit Runner in California to manage online permit submissions and in-person filings for contractors. The role involves traveling to City/County offices, submitting correct paperwork, and returning finalized permits through our portal.

Training is provided, and attention to detail is essential. Applicants should have a working vehicle, computer, printer, and smartphone, plus internet connectivity and availability during office hours.

Qualifications

• A working vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer, printer, and smartphone proficiency.
• Reliable internet access and ability to troubleshoot basic issues.
• Availability during city/county offices’ opening hours.
• Willingness to learn our permit submission system.

Responsibilities

• Submit permit applications online or in person for contractors.
• Drive to City/County offices to file paperwork as required.
• Submit completed documents through our web portal after permits are obtained.
• Maintain accurate records and deadlines for each permit case.

Position Overview

Our Company takes care of applying for City and County Permits on behalf of Contractors in California. We are in need of a full-time runner whose job it is to; apply online for Permits or drive to the City/County Building Departments and submit the correct paperwork on behalf of the Contractor, apply for the correct permit, and then pick up the finalized permit and submit the completed documents through our web portal.

Requirements

To perform the duties of this position requires the following.

• A working vehicle
• A Computer, printer, and Smartphone
• Internet connectivity
• Availability during the opening hours of the City/County offices in your area
• Basic knowledge of computers and the ability to learn our system. (will train for particulars of the job)
• Positive attitude and the patience and charm to work with the City departments to obtain the desired results.
• Ability to follow directions and attention to detail.
