Job summary

Colorado Living is seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator to oversee building permit coordination across Colorado and Utah. The role emphasizes timely permit submissions, regulatory liaison, and coordination with project teams throughout the permitting process.

We offer full benefits, paid time off, holidays off, and paid training. This non-exempt position follows a Monday–Friday schedule with standard business hours, and requires legal work authorization in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Structured familiarity with scheduling inspections.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for permit tracking and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass drug-screen and background check.

Responsibilities

  • Permit Acquisition: Research and submit permit applications to relevant regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor the status of permit applications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of permits, licenses, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with project managers to understand permit requirements for each project.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal teams on new requirements.
  • Schedule post-installation inspections with municipalities.
