Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Must Have Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction permitting.
• Proven experience managing high-volume permitting accounts.
• Strong client-facing communication skills; ability to represent the company professionally.
• Familiarity with permit-related software tools.
• Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection, a dedicated home office setup, and a demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Must sit in one of the following areas: San Diego, CA; San Francisco Bay area; Los Angeles County; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; or another West Coast major city with complex permitting requirements.

Job Description

We are seeking a Permit Project Manager to lead and coordinate permitting processes for construction projects. This role is primarily focused on managing permitting in San Diego County for new builds, additions/add-ons, and select small commercial projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and municipalities, ensuring all permits are obtained accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and governing agencies to navigate complex permitting requirements, maintain schedules, and deliver exceptional client service.
