Job summary

Purple Land Management, LLC is seeking a Title Abstractor Landman to join the project management team. The role focuses on mineral and title research to support drilling operations and lease payouts, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and independent work within a team.

The position requires 2–3 years in title/mineral research, a JD or Energy Management degree (or equivalent experience), and proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and Adobe Acrobat. Start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of title/mineral research.
• Juris Doctorate or a degree in Energy Management may be substituted, with sufficient job-related experience.
• Ability to meet deadlines daily and weekly based on client needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel and Word; experience with Adobe Acrobat.
• Communicate professionally with management and clients (in writing and verbally).

Responsibilities

• Research county records to determine surface and mineral ownership using online databases or county courthouses.
• Analyze and document results to input into client reports.
• Meet deadlines and balance multiple priorities in a shifting timeframe environment.
• Contribute to other duties assigned by management based on business needs.
