The Independence School in Newark, Delaware is seeking a Permanent Substitute Teacher who will support students from age three through eighth grade. This full-time, 10-month position works with the Head of Early Childhood, Lower and Intermediate, and Middle School to maintain consistent education when regular teachers are unavailable.

Permanent Substitute Teacher is a responsible and student-centered educator who helps to maintain consistent education throughout the school when other teachers are unable to perform their teaching duties. Works closely with the Head of Early Childhood, Head of Lower and Intermediate School, Head of Middle School, and the Academic Administrative Coordinator to support a positive school experience for all students (age three through eighth grade).
