Dennis-Yarmouth Regional School District is seeking a Permanent Substitute Paraeducator II/Specialized Programs for the 2026-2027 school year at Marguerite E. Small Elementary School. The position runs Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours per day with a half-hour lunch.
Compensation is per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, with a pay range of $29.03-$35.80 per hour. Applicants must be fingerprinted prior to hiring and meet Massachusetts ParaPro certification or WorkKeys within the first year.

All paraprofessionals must meet certification requirements as determined by the Every Student Succeeds Act. Individuals with an Associate's degree or higher, or who have obtained 48 credit hours from an accredited higher education institution, have met this requirement and will need to provide a copy of a transcript showing your highest degree earned. The finalpathway to meet this requirement is passing the Massachusetts ParaPro or Workkeys Assessment certification within the first year of employment.Information regarding the process can be found HERE . Supports students, which may include, but not limited to, students with: low-incidence disabilities, autism, social-emotional needs, and behavioral concerns. Support may occur in an early education setting, inclusion setting, substantially separate classroom or home. This may be 1:1 or in a small group. Work schedule as assigned by the building principal.
