Permanent - Senior CT Technologist - four openings

This position offers flexible hours and requires travel to other medical center locations. Work hours vary 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and graveyard shifts, with shift and weekend differentials.

Job Description

The Senior CT Technologist is a CRT/ARRT certified professional with an ARRT-sponsored CT Certification. They must be certified in injection procedures for CT, capable of performing CT exams in inpatient and outpatient settings, and able to work safely in an acute care environment. The role includes interacting with anesthesia and other patient care departments and participating in training new staff and students.

Advanced responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrating competency and leadership in procedures.
  • Participating in performance improvement and quality assurance meetings.
  • Instructing in advanced procedures.

Experience with GE 256 revolution, Siemens, Pediatrics, inpatient/outpatient settings, intravenous skills, leadership, adaptability, and critical thinking are preferred.

Qualifications
  • ARRT and CRT Licensure
  • ARRT-approved CT Certification
  • Venipuncture and BLS (CPR) Certifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiology program
  • Flexibility to rotate shifts, including weekends and holidays, at UCSF Medical Centers
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring
