Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced OR RN for Manhattan, KS. This role offers day shifts with no on-call, weekends, or holidays, and a fixed, predictable schedule.

You will deliver high-quality intraoperative care, support suite setup, and coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia to ensure patient safety and efficient turnovers. A KS RN license, BLS/ACLS, and orthopedic OR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or compact equivalent.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum hands-on orthopedic surgery experience (total joints, sports medicine).
• Ability to circulate/assist across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataract cases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties.
• Assist with surgical suite setup and sterile field prep, and post-case cleaning.
• Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, and anesthesia to maintain patient safety and efficient room turnover.
• Adapt to varying case loads across Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts and General Surgery.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation (Meditech Expanse).

Pay Rate: $31.35 - $46.59 / hour (based on experience)

Location: Manhattan, KS

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (32, 36, or 40 hours/week)

Shift: Day Shift (8, 10, or 12-hour options) | No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties

• Work collaboratively with surgeons, scrub techs, and anesthesia providers to maintain patient safety and efficient room turnovers
• Adapt seamlessly to varying case loads including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, and General Surgery
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation (Meditech Expanse)

Qualifications

• Education & License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas (or compact equivalent)
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required
• Clinical Experience: Minimum hands-on experience in orthopedic surgery (specifically total joint replacements and sports medicine)
• Specialty Flexibility: Demonstrated capability to circulate/assist across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, and Cataract procedures
• EHR: Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
