Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking an experienced Permanent Operating Room RN to join our surgical team in Manhattan, KS. Enjoy a stable day shift schedule with options of 8, 10, or 12 hours, and no on-call or weekend obligations.

Deliver high-quality intraoperative care across surgical specialties, collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia, and maintain accurate Meditech Expanse documentation. Requires KS RN license, BLS/ACLS, and orthopedic OR experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Kansas (or compact state)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Hands-on orthopedic surgery experience including total joint replacements and sports medicine
• Ability to circulate/assist across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, and Cataract procedures
• Experience with Meditech Expanse EHR preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality intraoperative nursing care across multiple surgical specialties
• Assist with surgical suite setup, sterile field preparation, and terminal cleaning of OR suites
• Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, and anesthesia providers for patient safety and efficient room turnovers
• Adapt to varying case loads including Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, Cataracts, and General Surgery
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation (Meditech Expanse)

Pay Rate: $31.35 – $46.59 / hour (based on experience)

Location: Manhattan, KS

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (32, 36, or 40 hours/week)

Shift: Day Shift (8, 10, or 12-hour options) | No Call, No Weekends, No Holidays

• Education & License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas (or compact equivalent)
• Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required
• Clinical Experience: Minimum hands-on experience in orthopedic surgery (specifically total joint replacements and sports medicine)
• Specialty Flexibility: Demonstrated capability to circulate/assist across General, ENT, GYN, Spine, Urology, and Cataract procedures
• EHR: Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
